Meet Max, a big, resilient sweetheart who has truly mastered the art of "keep on rolling." Found in Eastern Kentucky after a rough start, Max has fully healed from a paw injury and is officially ready to find his person!
Max is a lovable, "lumbering" guy who is surprisingly graceful—except for when he was wearing his recovery cone. In a hilarious display of his easygoing nature, Max didn't care one bit about the "head lamp"; he’d just bump into things and keep right on walking! He’s a total "talker" who loves to have conversations with his humans, and he’s looking for a family who will talk back and remind him he’s safe and loved.
Max’s Favorite Things:
- Company: He’d love a friend to hang out with, whether that’s another dog or a kid.
- Comfort: He’s a professional napper who loves couches, beds, and chairs.
- Good Manners: He already knows "sit" and basic commands. While he’s big, he prefers to politely "climb" into the car or onto the bed rather than jumping.
Max isn't necessarily a clingy cuddler, but he deeply enjoys being loved on and staying near his people. He is a truly "good boy" who has moved past his tough beginnings with a wagging tail. Could your home be Max's forever landing spot?
Ideal Home
Max would prefer a home with a yard. He can live with women, men, kids, other dogs, and cats.
