JERSEY (Adorable Puppy, Fun, Loving, Affectionate, Playful, Loves Everybody)

Jersey and his sister Jules are adorable puppies with cute floppy ears that you just cannot resist. They are ready to leave their rough start behind and find families of their very own. Jersey and Jules were dumped at a convenience store near a very busy highway, frightened, alone and in a very dangerous place with lots of traffic. Thankfully kind-hearted people stepped up to help and took them home and made sure they were safe. Jersey, is a handsome little boy, has striking blue eyes with even more blue than his sister. While both puppies have gorgeous, shiny coats, they are just as beautiful on the inside as they are outside. Rescue believes that maybe he's a mix of lab and Catahoula with eye coloring and coat. Jersey, like all puppies, loves to romp, play, wrestle and explore. Belly rubs are a favorite and he gladly soaks up every bit of attention he can get. He is learning how much fun toys can be, how cozy it is to be inside and how wonderful it is to have other dogs to play with. Most importantly he is learning that people can be kind and that life doesn't have to be scary. Since being so young he most likely would adapt to cats as well. Jersey is currently working on crate training and all the important puppy lessons that will help him grow into an amazing family companion. He is a happy, social, curious little pup who is blossoming more every day. It's hard to imagine anyone throwing away such loving innocent puppies but we are determined to make sure their story has a happy ending.

Ideal Home

Jersey would thrive in a home where he can continue to learn and explore. He enjoys playing with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Jersey is microchipped and current on vaccines. He is on Credelio for fleas and ticks and Interceptor for heartworm prevention. Jersey will have a full veterinarian examination to obtain a Health Certificate before he travels. Jersey will be adopted with a neuter contract. The adopter will assume the financial responsibility of the neuter upon vet-recommended age, no later than one year.

Training & Support

Jersey is currently working on crate training and other essential puppy lessons.
