Bear

Bear is a stunning 4-year-old boy who came to us as an unclaimed stray in a very neglected state. We don't have much background information on him, but we know he is quite shy and timid as he continues to heal from his past. He seems to get along with other dogs here at the shelter, but a meet-and-greet with any potential canine siblings would be essential. Bear weighed 46 pounds upon arrival, which indicated he was nearly emaciated. He is a clean boy in his kennel, and did we mention how GORGEOUS he is?! It may take some time and patience for Bear to overcome his past experiences, but we believe he will blossom into a wonderful addition to the right home.

Bear is recovering from past neglect and was underweight upon arrival. He is spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Bear is shy and timid and may need time to adjust to new surroundings and people. Patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping him feel secure.
