JOMA

Joma is a sweet, smart, and loving 6-8 month old Formosan Mountain Dog mix with a heart of gold. Despite a rough start in life, where she and her siblings were tragically found dumped in a fishpond area, Joma remains trusting and mature for her age. She can be a little shy initially in new surroundings, but she warms up quickly and is already doing wonderfully in her foster home. Joma is patiently waiting for a forever family to call her own.

Ideal Home

Joma would thrive in a home that offers both quiet moments and opportunities for activity. She's a friendly girl who is good with children of all ages, other dogs of all sizes, and even cats!

Ongoing Health

Joma has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, including rabies. She has tested negative for heartworm and receives monthly deworming and heartworm preventative. She also received a Bravecto treatment on 05/01/2026.

Training & Support

Joma is a quick learner and is already showing great progress with leash training. She is also crate trained and doing well with her house training. She rides well in the car and can wait patiently, making her a great companion for errands.
