Meet Chanel, a resilient 3 to 4-year-old terrier mix with a heart of gold! Chanel's journey began in a crowded New Mexico shelter, where she was unfortunately overlooked and found herself on a euthanasia list. Terrified and shut down, she was rescued and brought to Texas to receive a second chance. Through love and patience, Chanel has blossomed into an energetic and happy dog who even donates blood to help save other animals in need. While her transformation is incredible, she's still working on building her confidence and learning to trust fully. She adores toys and squeaky balls, though loud noises can startle her, and she's still discovering the joy of play. Chanel can be a bit flinchy when hands reach for her, so she needs a gentle, understanding home where she can feel safe and take things at her own pace.

Chanel is still working through past trauma and can be flinchy. She needs a gentle and understanding environment. Patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping her feel truly safe and confident.

- For those being picked up at our Angleton, Tx location, there is a $75 fee which includes all vetting: DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, micro-chipping, a collar, and many years of laughs and love to come!
- The adoption and transportation fee ranges from $100-500.
Transportation
Chanel is available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH, LA. AZ is coming soon! All transport includes air-conditioned buses or vans with onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow your pet's journey on a private Facebook event page. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request for an additional fee. Texas adopters have a $250 flat rate fee for transporting within the state.
