Dragonfly

Meet Dragonfly! This gorgeous 1-year-old Husky mix is a true sweetheart, though she can be a little shy at first. She arrived with her sister, Junebug, after an unexpected litter. While she was initially timid, Dragonfly has blossomed in a loving foster home and her true personality has shined through! She's fully housetrained, well-mannered, and incredibly smart. Dragonfly is a bit apprehensive around young children, so a home with teenagers and older would be ideal for her to continue to build her confidence, though she is making great strides daily! She's a dream to walk on a leash, staying close to her person and often heeling naturally.

Ideal Home

Dragonfly would thrive in a home with teenagers and older children. She also prefers her own space during mealtimes.

Dragonfly has no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Dragonfly is housetrained and walks beautifully on a leash. She is curious about cats but responds well to redirection. While initially scared of her foster's husband, she has made wonderful progress and now seeks him out for affection.

Transporation

Dragonfly is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
