She's a purebred "sunshine puppy" who is always looking forward to making new friends and is ready for anything, especially if snacks are involved! Sunnie D is endlessly happy, dog-friendly, and the kind of playmate who brings goofy confidence to every situation. With other dogs, she has "little-sister energy" - always involved, ready to romp, and not the least bit intimidated. She thrives on canine company and loves having a buddy to bounce around with, so she will need a dog friend in her new home.
Sunnie D is a total fan of kids and loves being part of the action. She can get a bit mouthy when excited, but it's not aggressive – just big-happy feelings she hasn't learned to express with manners yet. She takes correction and direction well and will improve quickly with a family ready to teach her.
When introduced to a house cat, Sunnie D was eager and excited with playful curiosity. This energy will require clear boundaries and consistent guidance from her new family so she learns respectful, calm behavior around kitties. She does not need a feline friend and will be perfectly happy with a family and a doggie pal.

Sunnie D is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
