About Bullseye

Bullseye is a 6.5-month-old male Retriever/Pit Bull mix who currently weighs 40 pounds and is expected to be a large dog when fully grown. He's the biggest pup in his litter, but also the most introverted, often taking things in quietly before joining in on cuddles or playtime. Bullseye loves dinnertime, belly rubs, scratches, and snuggling with his people. He's a gentle, thoughtful boy with a calm presence and a loyal heart, making him a wonderful companion. He enjoys playing and wrestling with his siblings and has been raised with his mother. Bullseye is also starting to settle into a wonderful companion and is potty trained, though a few accidents may occur as he adjusts to a new home.

Ideal Home

Bullseye would thrive in a home where he can continue to learn and grow. Because he is still an adolescent, it's preferred that someone is home for most of the day, typically not more than four to six hours at a time, to provide him with regular potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, training, and interaction. He would also benefit greatly from a home with another friendly, well-mannered dog to help mentor him in appropriate play, communication, and boundaries. If a home does not have another dog, a strong plan for continued socialization through structured training classes, supervised daycare, and playdates is a must.

Ongoing Health

Bullseye is a young puppy and is up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. He is in good health.

Training & Support

Bullseye is continuing to build confidence with leash walking and basic obedience. He is potty trained but may have occasional accidents as he learns a new routine. Ongoing positive reinforcement, consistency, and continued leash practice will help him thrive. Continued socialization with new people, places, sounds, and friendly dogs is crucial for building his lifelong confidence.
