Hi humans! My name is Basil, and I'm a sweet boy with a shy exterior. I'm very timid around strangers, but once I warm up, I'm incredibly loving and goofy! I enjoy playing tug with my brother, Sesame, and I'm a pro at sitting for treats. My favorite pastimes include playing with squeaky toys, chewing on bones, and absolutely loving yogurt-stuffed KONGs! I'd be over the moon to find a home where someone can help me open up and let my true, playful spirit shine!

Ideal Home

I'll need a family with experience working with shy dogs. I'd love a home where someone can work with me to build my confidence and help me feel more comfortable in new situations.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

I'm still working on my confidence around new people. I sit very well for treats, and I love enrichment toys like yogurt-stuffed KONGs!
