Mona

Meet Mona! This gorgeous 2-year-old Mountain Cur mix is a sweet, smart, and active girl who was surrendered to us with other dogs due to no fault of her own. Her previous owner fell on hard times, and now Mona is ready to find her forever home. She's an energetic goofball who is absolutely obsessed with stuffed toys! Mona is independent in the best way – she enjoys cuddles but also likes to do her own thing. She walks well on a leash and is very eager to explore all the smells. During a outing, she did a great job sitting with volunteers at a restaurant, and when she wanted to greet people or other dogs, she listened well when asked to return and settle. Mona is a truly wonderful companion, and we know her best life is waiting for her.
