Hi there, I'm Clubby! I'm a senior male American Bulldog mix with a big heart and a love for learning. I've had the opportunity to receive some special training beyond the usual shelter walls, like studying abroad! My trainer friend at Gray Wolf Canine Rehabilitation has helped me work through some challenges, and now I'm ready to graduate from the sheltering system into a loving adoptive home. Once I find my forever family, my spot at Gray Wolf will open up for another dog in need to get their chance to shine!
For the last three years, I've been a resident of the shelter. Before that, I grew up in a wonderful home with a family. Though it wasn't my fault, I ended up back in the shelter system. While here, I developed some separation anxiety and found it a bit tricky to connect with other dogs. But thanks to my time at Gray Wolf, I've learned to be comfortable in a crate, developed a routine to manage my anxiety, and practiced introductions with new dogs. I've also discovered some fun enrichments and activities that keep me happy and nurtured.
Ideal Home
I'm looking for a caring home where I can finally settle down and be out of the shelter system forever. I'd prefer a home with a lower traffic environment, but I can be flexible if there's more management. I would love to have a dog friend to share my life with, but we'd need to meet first to make sure we hit it off!
Ongoing Health
I've received all my necessary vaccinations and have been spayed and neutered.
Training & Support
I've been working on my separation anxiety and have learned to be comfortable in a crate. I've also practiced introductions with other dogs and am working on building connections.
