Nira is a thoughtful heart and chase queen, ready to find her forever home! This sweet girl is waiting patiently in a loving foster home, where she's already become a fun addition to the family. She's house and crate trained and has shown herself to be a wonderful companion. Nira can take a moment to warm up to new faces, preferring to observe before diving in, but once she trusts you, she's incredibly loving and playful. She absolutely adores other dogs and truly blossoms with canine companionship, becoming more confident and relaxed. Her ideal canine playmate would be a medium-energy, goofy dog who enjoys a good game of chase, which Nira loves! She also finds great joy in entertaining herself with toys, with stuffies being a particular favorite. Nira's fosters have discovered her herding instincts come out during play, and while she can get a little vocal, it's all in good fun.
Ideal Home
Nira would thrive in a home with a yard and another dog to be her friend. She needs adopters who are patient, consistent, and respectful of her need for space and calm introductions. This girl is not suited for apartment or city living and would prefer to be a homebody rather than attend outings. She's great with kids and already lives happily with children aged 11 and 13. However, Nira does need a cat-free home, as her playful chase instincts mean she's not a good fit for feline friends.
