Mystic is a sweet, gentle, and intelligent pitbull mix with a heart full of love to give! She was born on February 21, 2022, and weighs around 55 pounds. Mystic is an active girl who loves to run, making her the perfect companion for an active family or individual who enjoys outdoor activities like running, biking, or hiking. She was a house dog in her previous home and is eager to find a loving household once again. Mystic is a people-pleaser and is very responsive to instruction, showing her eagerness to learn and follow your lead. She's not a big barker and loves to ride in the car, loading up with ease.
Ideal Home
Mystic would thrive in an active home where she can join in on adventures. She would do well with kids and other dogs of all sizes, but she will need slow introductions to new canine friends so she doesn't feel overwhelmed. While she's getting used to her new surroundings, she may be a little unsure in new situations, so patience and time to adjust will be key. Due to her energetic nature, she might be too much for very young children and we don't know how she would do with cats as she hasn't been around them.
Ongoing Health
Mystic is up-to-date on her vetting. As of December 19, 2022, she had a clear exam, fecal, and heartworm test, and was negative for both. She is currently on Simparica Trio.
Training & Support
Mystic is still young and learning! She hasn't quite mastered not jumping on people yet and will need some work in this area. She tends to pull on the leash, and while she walks on one, she might benefit from a harness or a Halti for better control. Mystic would also benefit from continued socialization to new situations to help her build confidence in the outside world.
