Brody is a 32lb, 2-year-old Ridglan survivor whose life has only just begun. When he first arrived, the world felt big and loud and confusing. He was scared, unsure, and trying his best to understand what home even meant. But with patience, kindness, and the gentle guidance of his foster buddy, Brody has been slowly unfolding like a little flower in spring. And oh, what a beautiful boy he's becoming.
Outside, Brody is pure joy. He LOVES to play in the yard with his furry sibling so much that you may need a solid 20 minutes to convince him that playtime is over. He zooms, he wiggles, he beams. But the moment he steps inside, he transforms into the world's most easygoing couch potato. He'll plop down anywhere – truly anywhere – like gravity just wins and he melts into the floor with a dramatic sigh. He's a cuddler, a TV watching buddy, a car ride enthusiast who sticks his head out the window like he's finally tasting freedom. He adores white American cheese slices (his love language), and he gives the happiest tail wags for small female dogs. Kids? He's great with them too – gentle, sweet, and trying his best even when he's nervous.
Brody is still learning the world. Walks outside the backyard are scary right now, and he'll need someone who understands that bravery grows slowly. He feels safest with his human or a resident dog nearby.
Brody would absolutely thrive in a home with a secure, fenced-in yard and a friendly dog sibling.
Brody is mostly housebroken with occasional accidents, somewhat crate trained, and wonderfully respectful with food and toys.
Brody is a dog who wants to love and be loved. He is trying so hard, blossoming more every day, and he deserves a home where he's allowed on the couch, in the bed, and in every corner of someone's heart.
