Miriam (reduced rover)

Miriam is 35 lbs of pure diva energy wrapped in fur. Nearly 8 years old, this belly-rub enthusiast is equal parts snuggle bug and tiny tyrant. She's got a personality that's as rich and complex as an indie film protagonist, but with a lot more fur and a lot more opinions about her belongings.

Ideal Home

Miriam thrives with experienced adopters who understand and can manage resource guarding. She needs a home where her boundaries are respected and where chaos is appreciated. A quiet environment where she can feel safe and secure is key.

Ongoing Health

Miriam is spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. She has no other known health conditions.

Training & Support

Miriam is a mega resource guarder; food, toys, and even a preferred spot on the couch are considered hers. If she doesn't want to be moved, she can become defensive, exhibiting "bitey gremlin mode." For her safety and the safety of others, she is always kept on a long lead and martingale collar. She attended board and train, where she earned the nickname "Moaning Myrtle" for her vocal protests. She is crate-trained and leash-walks well.
