Hi there, I'm Millie, a sweet, smart, and food-motivated 12-year-old pit bull mix looking for a forever family! I'm about 50 pounds, spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm also house, crate, and leash trained, and I walk like a dream. Car rides are my absolute favorite!
I've had some challenges in my life and need a patient and understanding home. While I can warm up to men, it takes time and building trust. I can also be a fear snapper, so a calm and confident person is essential to help me feel safe. Due to my fears, I tend to guard my resources, especially food from other dogs and treats from humans. Please give me space when I'm enjoying a bone.
I am good with children who are respectful of my boundaries and won't startle me. Older children who understand I'm a scared dog would be ideal. I am selective with other dogs and prefer a friendly, easygoing companion who won't overwhelm me. I am not friendly with cats.

A calm, patient, and confident person or family who can help me feel safe and secure. A home with older children who understand my needs is preferred. I would do best in a home without cats.

I am house, crate, and leash trained and walk well on a leash. I can be a fear snapper and have resource guarding tendencies, especially with food from other dogs and treats from humans. I need a patient owner to help me build trust, particularly with men.
