Anna is a beautiful Lab mix, 52 lbs, with velvety black fur, a bright white chest, and feet delicately dipped in white. She is a polite, quiet presence in the house who understands that the best things in life, like a good dinner, are meant to be savored slowly while laying down.

Ideal Home

Anna would be a perfect addition to a multi-pet family, potentially even with a cat, as she enjoys quiet afternoons napping in the same room. She has been wonderful with children aged 8-12. While she's happy in an apartment or a house, a home without a mountain of stairs would be ideal as she's still building her stamina. She does have a little to say when left alone, so a home with another dog or a routine to boost her confidence would be wonderful.

Training & Support

Anna has mastered the art of the crate and finds it to be her ultimate safe haven. She is easy on leash and has shown how well she can stick close to her person during off-leash time in a safe, familiar setting. She loves to swim and can handle stairs when needed.

Transportation

Anna is currently in a foster home in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Available drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Transport includes a $87 surcharge.
