Oreo

Oreo is a special young male Border Collie mix who is medium-sized and has a short coat. He came to us after being neglected in an empty property and was thankfully reported by neighbors before it was too late. Oreo has a happy and grateful demeanor, and despite his past, he's ready to find his forever home. We recently discovered that Oreo is deaf, but this doesn't slow him down one bit!

Ideal Home

Oreo is looking for a patient and loving home that can provide him with a safe and stable environment. Given his past neglect and his deafness, a home that understands and can adapt to his needs will be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Oreo has started our full medical protocol, which includes:

• Full vaccinations (including Bordetella & Lepto)
• Deworming
• Microchip with lifetime registration
• Neuter surgery
• Bloodwork (CBC, chemistry panel, 4DX test)
• Flea/tick/heartworm prevention (NexGard Spectra)

Training & Support

Since Oreo is deaf, he will need a home committed to training him using positive reinforcement and visual cues. He is not yet house-trained, so continued efforts in this area will be necessary.
