At just about 1 year old, Axle is a fabulous blend of young-dog energy with a gentle, old-soul spirit. He is a tuxedo-wearing Pointer/Hound mix, working hard every day to build his confidence. He is surely one of the most polite and handsomest guys in town!

Ideal Home

Axle would love a home with a fenced-in yard, as it gives him the security he needs to relax, play, and explore at his own pace. He would also love a dog mate to help guide him through his journey. Older and more predictable kids would be best.

Axle is housebroken, crate-trained, and completely respectful of home things! He is a star pupil, knows a handful of commands, and is a master at giving paw. He takes treats very gently. Axle is shy when meeting new people, but his progress is inspiring. He is looking for a family that will celebrate his wins, big and small, and provide a nurturing environment where he can truly blossom.
