Meet Rusty! This handsome 1-year-old Husky/Aussie mix has a heart as big as his smile. After being rescued from the euthanasia list, he's been given a second chance and is now looking for the forever family he deserves. Rusty is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate. He loves spending time outdoors, especially with a rope toy, but once he's burned off some energy, he's happiest curled up next to his people. Being with his humans is his favorite, and he's always ready for cuddles or just to hang out by your side. He's a smart boy who loves to learn. Rusty already knows "sit" and "come," and he's quickly picking up "stay" and "lay down." He's potty trained, walks well on a leash, rides great in the car, and settles nicely in his kennel at night. He'll let you know if someone is around by barking a bit in the backyard, but he's not an excessive barker. Rusty has a loyal, loving personality and would make an amazing companion for a family looking for a best friend. Whether it's playing in the yard, going on adventures, or relaxing together after a long day, he's ready to be part of it all.
