Meet Lizzie!

Lizzie is a smart, loyal, and affectionate 8-month-old girl who weighs about 38 lbs. She's the kind of dog that truly shines when she's given a purpose and thrives on learning new things and making her humans proud. She enjoys mental stimulation just as much as playtime and cuddles. Lizzie has an incredible nose and would excel in activities like scent work, detection, or even search and rescue if given the right training. She's a medium-energy dog who settles well and is incredibly sweet and loyal, happy to be your devoted shadow. Her DNA revealed a surprising mix: 39% Husky for intelligence and expressiveness, 20% Boston Terrier for goofy charm, 31% bully breed for loyalty and affection, and 14% Frenchie to keep smiles all around! Lizzie has already completed basic obedience training and is house-trained, making her a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Lizzie thrives when she has a purpose and needs a home that will continue to provide her with structure, guidance, enrichment, and opportunities for "jobs" or adventures. She would do well in a home with children, other dogs, and cats.

Lizzie is fully vetted.

Training & Support

Lizzie is house-trained and has completed basic obedience training. She needs consistency, communication, and leadership to continue her success.

Transportation

Lizzie is currently in a foster home in Mississippi. With an approved application, she is eligible for transport to SW Michigan. The next transport is scheduled for July 13th. We have a branch in Kalamazoo with a local foster team for support, as well as two veterinary partners.
