Alba

Alba is a delightful 1-year-old female Labrador Creole mix, weighing around 30 lbs. She was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. Alba is a loving, intelligent, and obedient dog who enjoys playtime, walks, and affection. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but quickly warms up and melts into your arms. Alba is joyful, funny, and very loyal. She's also crate and leash trained. She was found in a field with her six siblings, all just days old.

Ideal Home

Alba would thrive in a home with owners who have a fenced backyard and are active, enjoying outdoor activities. Families with an open mind about the needs and behaviors of rescued animals, who have experience with dog behavior and training, and possess high tolerance and patience for a rescued pup are ideal. It is important to note that Alba is not house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Alba has received a comprehensive health protocol including: spay/neuter certificate, two DHPPI vaccines, rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchip, a 4DX test and certificate, a negative heartworm test certificate, and monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra. She also comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Alba is not house-trained, and requires adopters who understand the challenges and commitment involved in training a rescued animal. She is crate and leash trained.

Transporation

Alba is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. She is available for transport to the East Coast of the United States. Transportation is provided by a transport company and the adopter will be responsible for a transport fee of $400.00, payable prior to departure. The transport will deliver to the adopter's home address.
