Arby

Arby, 6 months old and about 40 pounds, is a brindle bundle of happiness! He has some Heeler and Bully breed traits, and based on his friendly, easygoing personality, we suspect there's some Lab in the mix too. Arby loves everyone he meets – humans, dogs, and new friends alike. He quickly bonded with another rescued dog and has seamlessly joined his foster family of rescued canine siblings. Arby loves toys, splashing in the doggie pool, and making the most of every day. He'll bark at farm cats but doesn't seem to have any real intentions behind it, so we're recommending a cat-free home. He's a slow grower and is unlikely to exceed 50 pounds when fully grown. Arby is wonderfully submissive with both people and other dogs and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Like many Heelers, he enjoys herding his canine friends and may occasionally nip at their heels during play. He responds well to corrections from other dogs and is eager to learn appropriate boundaries. Arby is simply grateful to be free, safe, and loved, and he celebrates every day with a wagging tail and a smile.

Training & Support

Arby is crate trained and house trained. He may occasionally nip at the heels of other dogs during play, but he responds well to corrections and is eager to learn appropriate boundaries.

Arby is located in Texas. For out-of-state adopters, Arby can travel safely with one of our trusted transport partners, Freedom Run Express or Tigger's Texas Transport. We adopt to multiple states to help each dog find the perfect forever home.
