Hi there! I'm Remi, a handsome 55 lb pitty mix with a heart full of love to give. I ended up at the shelter through no fault of my own, as my previous owner could no longer keep me. Now, I'm on the lookout for a forever family to call my own!
Because I've spent a lot of time outdoors, I can be a bit shy and hesitant around new things and people. It takes me a little while to warm up and feel secure, but I'm a total softie for tasty treats! With a bit of patience and some yummy snacks, I promise I'll start to open up and show you my true, wonderful self. When I'm not busy being a goofball, I absolutely love playing with my toys and zooming around the yard. Once I've had my fill of playtime, I'm all about cuddles and affection with my favorite people.
Ideal Home
A home where I can continue to build my confidence would be ideal. While I haven't had much exposure to very young children, my silly and energetic nature suggests a home without little ones would be best. I might be a good fit for a home with older children (12+) with a meet-and-greet. I have lived with other dogs before, so a canine sibling could be a possibility, but a meet-and-greet is a must to ensure we're a good match.

Training & Support
I would really benefit from some basic obedience training and continued socialization to help me gain confidence with new experiences and people. My shelter family is working with me on this, and I'll need a dedicated family to continue my education so I can blossom into the best companion ever!
