Simon

Simon is a handsome 2.5-year-old, 51 lb. Pitbull mix with a heart of gold. He's smart, comical, and incredibly sweet, with a smooshable face that will melt your heart. Simon loves toys, antlers, car rides, and people, and he's already a pro at charming everyone he meets, even the vet staff! He's known for his ability to go from wide awake to fast asleep in a flash and has a quirky habit of sitting in the window like a cat, watching the world go by.

Ideal Home

Simon would love a family with plenty of love and time for adventures, along with opportunities for cuddles. A fenced yard would be a bonus, but his greatest desire is a home that will adore him as much as everyone else already does. Simon does well with tolerant, submissive dogs his size or smaller, but he is selective with larger male dogs. He is also looking for a home with children aged 8 and up.

Ongoing Health

Simon is a resilient boy who has overcome a lot. He was treated for parvo and has since undergone double TPLO surgery. He is now healthy and on a high-quality kibble diet to maintain his skin health. Simon is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Simon knows "sit" and "paw." He's currently working on his leash manners, especially around other dogs, and learning to keep his mouth to himself when excited. He's a quick learner and would thrive with continued training. Simon is also house-trained and crate-trained.
