Coco

Meet Coco, a sweet senior Maltese also known as "Pinky"! This little gentleman is looking for a peaceful retirement home to enjoy his golden years. Coco loves snacks, leisurely strolls, and doesn't mind where he relieves himself, as long as it's convenient for him. He was surrendered by his elderly owners after being hit by a car, as they could no longer provide the care he needed. Coco is very food-motivated, but please be mindful that he may nip if you try to take his food away, especially since most of his teeth have been removed and it can still be uncomfortable for him. Despite this, he's friendly with people and does well with other dogs. He can get a bit overstimulated with too much activity, so a calmer environment where he can set his own pace and enjoy some "emotional support snacks" would be ideal. Coco isn't looking for a show dog; he's looking for someone who understands that older dogs with quirks are still incredibly lovable.

Ideal Home

Coco would thrive in a calm home where he can wander at his own pace and enjoy a quiet life. He needs a patient owner who understands his need for snacks and his occasional accidents, as he is not house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Coco is a senior dog and has had most of his teeth removed. He has also been treated for injuries sustained from being hit by a car.

Training & Support

Coco is not house-trained and may pee wherever he pleases. He is also very food motivated and can nip if you try to take his food away. Diapers are an option for managing his accidents.
