Meet Bear! This adorable German Shepherd mix is about 14 weeks old and weighs around 16lbs. Bear and his siblings had a rough start, found abandoned on a Texas roadside, bravely dodging traffic before being rescued. Sadly, pups like Bear often face longer waits for their forever homes.

Ongoing Health

Bear is neutered, up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. He has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments.

Training & Support

As a young pup, Bear will benefit from consistent training and socialization to help him grow into a well-adjusted companion.

• Adoption fee is $500, which includes transportation out of state.
• The adoption fee covers age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, spay/neuter if old enough, flea and heartworm prevention, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a new leash and collar, and 30 days of free pet insurance with Trupanion.

Transporation

Bear is currently located in Houston, TX. We facilitate adoptions across the US and provide transportation for adopted pets. Each dog travels in their own airline-approved crate within a clean, climate-controlled vehicle with 24/7 care. Families will meet at designated public pickup locations.
