Pickles

Pickles is a sweet 3-year-old fawn-colored boy who loves to have fun! He came to us when his family experienced a sudden loss, and it was a difficult decision for them to let him go. Pickles is currently a healthy weight, but we're working on adding a few more pounds to get him to his ideal size. He's a high-energy pup who walks wonderfully on a leash and gets along great with both small and large dogs. He also adores children!

Pickles is incredibly food-motivated and is learning that he can reliably count on regular meals, which is helping him curb his previous habit of scavenging for food. He's comfortable sleeping in a kennel and doesn't mind it at all. He barks a bit, but he's very easy to quiet down. He's making great progress with his potty training, and since he already uses the doggie door, we're confident he'll be a pro once he's neutered.

Ideal Home

Pickles would thrive in a home that can keep up with his high energy and provide him with consistent meals and training.

Ongoing Health

Pickles is heartworm negative. He is currently unaltered and will be neutered soon.

Training & Support

Pickles is learning not to scavenge for food and is improving his potty manners. Continued positive reinforcement, especially after his neutering, will help him become a pro.
