Tigger Tiggy is believed to be a pittie mix, approximately 4 years old, and weighs 68 lbs. As with all rescues, his exact breed and age are a mystery!
He's a dog's dog and is currently living with other dogs, large and small. He's a bit of a slow burn with new canine friends, taking his time to feel comfortable and confident, but once he does, he's a playful pup! He would do best with a gentle female doggy friend who will allow him to settle in at his own pace. He's also cat-friendly and was very respectful during his introduction to Biggie the house cat.
Tigger is a very good boy who already knows commands like "sit" and "down." He's crate trained, potty trained, and walks beautifully on a leash, responding well to gentle corrections. His recall is fantastic, and he even does a charming "happy paw" dance when he comes running to you!
He has experience with children aged 6-12 and has done wonderfully with them. Tigger would be a fantastic family dog. While he could adapt to apartment living with an active family and proper exercise, his ideal home would include a fenced-in backyard where he can explore, zoom, and soak up the sunshine.
Above all, Tigger Tiggy wants to be with his people. Whether it's cuddling on the couch, going on adventures, or even being your WFH coworker, he's happy as long as he's by your side.
Ideal Home
An active family with a fenced-in backyard would be ideal, but he could also thrive in an apartment with a semi-active family and proper exercise. He would do best with a female doggy friend who is patient.
