About Brownie

Brownie was found as a stray and taken in by a kind community member who noticed her searching for food. With the shelter full, she found comfort in a foster home, and we've been dedicated to helping her find a loving forever family. After completing her veterinary care, this beautiful girl is ready to steal someone's heart!

Brownie has made incredible progress since her rescue. She's now a pro at walking on a leash and knows basic commands. While she's a little shy when first meeting new people, she quickly warms up and shows her sweet, cuddly side. She's happy to sleep through the night, whether in her crate or out. You'll love having her snooze on the couch with you – she's not a resource guarder and is very affectionate.

Brownie is house-trained and enjoys her daily walks. She's done wonderfully with children aged 8 and up and loves every dog she meets. Her intelligence and eagerness to learn make her a joy to train.

Brownie is a 2-year-old, 42-pound mix, likely of Border Collie and Australian Shepherd. She has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. She's also microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
