Turkey

Turkey is a charming and intelligent mixed breed, approximately 1 year old and weighing 40-45 pounds. His DNA reveals a fascinating blend of Australian Cattle Dog, American Staffordshire, and Cocker Spaniel, among 13 other breeds! Turkey is a smart boy who arrived at our rescue after being saved from euthanasia on a reservation with his siblings. He's eager to please and already knows some basic obedience, walking well on a leash. Turkey has a low to medium energy level, enjoying activities like chasing balls, going for walks, and even curling up for a movie session.

Ideal Home

Turkey thrives with the companionship of other dogs and enjoys their routines, often playing with them. While he's been around cats, he does tend to chase them. He is bashful at first but absolutely adores children! With a little time and some yummy treats, he warms up to adults and becomes a loyal best friend.

Ongoing Health

Turkey has been vet checked, is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. He has been neutered and is current on all flea, tick, heartworm, and deworming preventatives.

Training & Support

Turkey is already kennel trained and house trained. He is described as eager to please and walks well on a leash.
