Panchita

Panchita is a sweet and loving 2-3 year old, 33 lb creole mix with a heart full of affection to give! She's intelligent, obedient, and incredibly sociable with people, children, and other dogs. Panchita enjoys playtime, walks, and running, but her favorite thing is showering her humans with love. She's a noble and charismatic girl who is always smiling and eager to please. Panchita is also dog and cat friendly, making her a wonderful addition to many households. She was rescued in March 2024 after being found with her 7 puppies.

Ideal Home

Panchita would thrive in a home with owners who have a fenced backyard and an active lifestyle, enjoying outdoor activities. She needs a family with an open conscience about the needs of rescued animals and experience in dog behavior and training, as she is not house-trained and requires patience and understanding.

Ongoing Health

Panchita has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and rabies vaccines, a Bordetella vaccine, deworming, and is microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has had a 4DX test. She is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. She will come with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Panchita is crate and leash trained. However, she is not house-trained and will require ongoing patience and consistency to learn. Families should be prepared for the learning curve that comes with a rescued animal.

Transporation

Panchita is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transport to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee of $400.00, which is paid by the adopter prior to departure.
