Hello there! I'm Rosalind, a shy but sweet 3-year-old girl weighing in at about 10 pounds. I came to Mostly Mutts feeling a bit scared, but I've found a wonderful foster home where I'm learning to trust and blossom. With a little patience and a lot of love, I'm sure to become an amazing companion! I'm a bit of a shadow, following my foster parents around the house, and sometimes I even do a little happy dance when they notice me. I love to nap on soft blankets and have even started getting the zoomies, showing just how much more comfortable I'm becoming. I'm also getting braver about coming out of my crate when my foster dad is home. My fosters say I'm a great dog and that my personality is really starting to shine!
Ideal Home
I'm looking for a calm, quiet, and gentle home where I can continue to build my confidence at my own pace. I would do best with older, quiet, and gentle children (teens and up). I'm doing well with the dogs and cats in my foster home and would love to meet any resident dogs who are patient and will give me time to adjust. I must have a securely fenced yard, as I could get startled and run off if not contained.
Ongoing Health
I am current on my vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
I'm still learning basic commands, but with your patience, and perhaps with the free lifetime classes Mostly Mutts offers, we can learn together! My crate is my safe space, and I love it, so having one in my new home is a must. I'm doing well with potty training when taken out regularly onto the grass in a fenced yard, but I'll need a consistent schedule in my new home to prevent accidents. I'm not a fan of being picked up, loud noises, unfamiliar people, or being rushed, so a slow and gentle approach will help me feel secure.
