Lucky Bear

Meet Lucky Bear! He's a 2-year-old, 43-pound Husky mix with a heart full of love and a zest for adventure. Lucky Bear is a friendly and playful boy who adores spending time outdoors, but he's just as happy to relax by your side after a fun day. He's a smart pup who is eager to learn and loves his toys, especially soft ones and durable bones. Lucky Bear is also quite independent, but don't let that fool you – he's full of sweet kisses and affection for his people.

Ideal Home

Lucky Bear would do best with an active family who enjoys both indoor time and outdoor adventures. He's the kind of dog who will happily explore trails with you, play in the yard, and then relax nearby at the end of the day. He has done wonderfully with female dogs and has been gentle and kind with kids, including a 12-year-old. Slow introductions or a home with female companions would be ideal for him as he's still learning his comfort level around male dogs. His compatibility with cats is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Lucky Bear is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and on prevention.

Training & Support

Lucky Bear is crate trained, leash trained (continuing to improve daily), and rides well in the car. He is generally quiet and well-behaved and is picking up routines quickly.

Lucky Bear is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. Transport is available for out-of-state adopters for an additional fee.
