Becca Boo is the literal definition of happiness! Oh my goodness, is she happy all the time and has the ability to make every single person around her smile. Her ears do too, which are our personal favorite thing about her. Becca is more than just happy all the time, she is incredibly smart, loyal, dog friendly, loves to play with toys, and a beautiful blend of fun and snuggles. Becca is a German shepherd mix, approximately 3.5 years old and 63lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee age or breed.
Ideal Home
Becca would do best in a home with a moderately playful dog that likes to play and one that also likes to hangout and relax. If you don't have other dogs, that's okay too! She would be great as a solo dog as she does not need the constant play to keep her entertained or need the companionship to help her open up and be comfortable. Becca is a happy social butterfly all on her own and she would love to be the center of your world. Becca would also do best in a home without any kitty friends. Her dream home would have a big backyard where she can stretch those legs, smell all the smells, and a place where she can find that perfect spot in the grass to bake in the sun. She would do best with a semi-active family that wants to take their dog with them on hikes, maybe even are looking for a running partner, and also are looking for a dog that likes to relax as well.

Training & Support
Becca is fully potty and crate trained, and a quick learner. She already knows some basic commands, like sit, down, and paw. Becca is fairly easy to walk on a leash as well and will be a great adventure buddy! She does pull occasionally out of excitement or if she wants to go sniff something but is easy to correct. She aims to please and loves to learn new things too. This confident girl is a fast learner that you could train to do it all. With the right training and guidance, there's nothing you can throw her way she wouldn't be able to do.

Transporation
We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey!
All adoptions within Texas must be picked up from Friendswood, Tx.
