Here's Frankie!
Meet Frankie, a delightful 2-year-old Pit mix who weighs about 50 lbs. She's a charming bundle of energy, a true "Velcro dog" who loves to be close to her humans and has the most soulful puppy eyes. Frankie isn't aware of personal space boundaries, and when she gets excited, she can be a 50+ lb missile! She's solar-powered, enjoys lounging, and prefers not to be out in the rain. Frankie also has a knack for claiming the best spot on the bed and hogging all the blankets at night.
Ideal Home
Frankie would thrive in a home with another dog of similar size to roughhouse with. She'd love a human who doesn't mind a warm, 50-pound companion always by their side, and a big bed she can commandeer. Given her enthusiastic nature, a home with slightly older children might be best, as she can sometimes get a little too excited and accidentally bowl them over, though she means no harm!

Frankie is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm.
Training & Support
Frankie is already crate trained and potty trained! She's incredibly treat-motivated and a fast learner, which will be very helpful as she continues to learn to manage her excitement and size. While she's friendly with all dogs and people, her enthusiasm can be a bit much for some, so she's working on reigning in her "pushy" greetings. She responds well to corrections and is learning social cues, quickly calming down when asked. She has a strong prey drive for smaller critters, so walks might require some extra vigilance. Be prepared for a toy destroyer – she has a PhD in ripping out squeakers!
