Meet Buddy — a smart, affectionate, and playful 2-year-old pup with a huge heart and an even bigger love for cuddles. Whether he’s happily playing with his toys or curled up beside his favorite person for a nap, Buddy thrives on companionship and being close to his humans. Buddy is incredibly loyal and forms deep bonds with the people he loves. Since being adopted a couple of months ago, he has learned basic commands very quickly and has shown how intelligent and eager to please he truly is. He’s a sweet, sensitive boy who simply wants to feel safe, loved, and included. Before being rescued, Buddy came from a neglectful situation where he was severely underweight and lacked proper socialization. Despite that difficult beginning, he has made amazing progress and continues to grow in confidence every day. He is now a happy, loving boy who enjoys toys, naps, and simply being by your side.

Ideal Home

Buddy is looking for a home where he can be the only dog, as he does best without other pets in the household. While he may get along with some dogs, he has shown aggression toward others, so a dog-free environment will help him feel most secure and successful. He can also be protective of the home at first, but with proper introductions he warms up quickly and becomes incredibly affectionate with guests. Buddy would thrive in a patient, understanding home that can give him the stability, love, and reassurance he deserves.
