Joseph

Meet Joseph! He's a charming husky/shepherd mix, about 6-8 years young and weighing in at a sturdy 76 lbs. Joseph has been enjoying his time in the play yard, and he's already proven to be a great companion for both dogs and kids! He does need to be in a home without cats, but otherwise, he's a real crowd-pleaser. Joseph didn't enjoy his crate experience, so it's best to avoid crating him.

Joseph would thrive in a loving home that understands his need to be in a no-cat household.

Ongoing Health

Joseph is microchipped and has been neutered. He's up-to-date on all his vaccinations, including Parvo, Distemper, Hepatitis, Influenza, Lepto, Kennel Cough, and Rabies. He's also had a heartworm test and is on flea and tick prevention and has been dewormed.

Training & Support

Joseph walks beautifully on a leash and stays right by your side. He's a gentle player and has never jumped on people. While out and about, he was well-behaved in businesses and had no potty accidents. He responds well to praise and affection, and even small corrections are all that's needed to guide him on walks. His recall is best with a whistle and the "come" command.

Joseph is currently at Del Norte Animal Shelter and can be transported to Portland, OR.
