Tortoise D11641

Tortoise is proof that chill can be cool! Named for his beautiful coloring, this approximately 7-year-old pup has all the perks of a dog his age. He can still act like a puppy during playtime but is equally happy to cuddle up for snuggle time, especially for TV time. His mornings are often filled with zoomies in the yard. Tortoise loves to be involved in whatever you're doing. Special talents include "helping" to change the sheets (he's your guy if you need a dog to sit right on them!), worming his way onto a warm lap for cuddles, and he can even dry himself off after going out in the rain if a towel is provided.

Ideal Home

Tortoise would love other dog siblings in the home but would also be happy as your only companion, provided you spend a lot of time at home. He has a strong prey drive, so no cats or other small creatures. Due to some signs of separation anxiety, time alone should be minimal.

Ongoing Health

Tortoise is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Tortoise will need some help with leash etiquette, as his strong prey drive causes him to pull towards critters.
