Meet Roscoe — Your New Best Friend in the Making!

This incredibly handsome 3-year-old Shepherd mix is as sweet as he is striking. Weighing in at around 80 lbs, Roscoe is a gentle giant who adores belly rubs, crinkly toys, and especially anything that squeaks. He’ll happily lean his whole body into you for affection—he’s a world-class snuggler.

Once he knows you, Roscoe becomes a loyal, wiggly, and wonderfully friendly companion. He walks beautifully on leash (especially for a big guy!) and has done great during vet exams. He’s also very smart and eager to learn, responding well to direction and structure.

Roscoe can be selective with other dogs and is still working on managing his excitement when he sees them. Because of this, he’d thrive as the only pet in a calm, adult-only home. He hasn’t been cat-tested yet. Roscoe also appreciates having space when he’s enjoying his toys, so someone who understands that would be a great match for him.

This sweet boy has been through a lot—he was abandoned in March 2023—and he’s ready for a patient, loving forever home where he can finally relax and shine.
