Hi there, I'm Misty Mae! I'm a sweet Retriever, Spaniel, and Carolina Dog mix, about 10 months old, and I weigh 38lbs. I was rescued from a gas station and given a second chance at life, and I've been making the most of it ever since. My foster family says I have a gentle soul and a heart full of love, and I'm always looking for a loyal best friend to be by their side.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a forever home where I can continue to blossom and feel loved. I get along well with small dogs and appreciate slow introductions when meeting new canine friends. Larger dogs can sometimes feel overwhelming for me, so I'd love a family that understands that.

I'm all up-to-date on my vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

I'm a smart, food-motivated girl who loves to learn new things, especially if snacks are involved! I'm housebroken and kennel trained, and I thrive on a routine. I'm also gaining confidence every day with patience and love.

Transportation

I'm currently located in Houston, TX! Transport is included in my adoption fee, and we coordinate with multiple services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. You'll be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates along the way.
