Max Sterling is his name, puppy love and fun is his game! Max is estimated to be around 4 months old and weighs 33 pounds. He looks every bit like a Weimaraner, possibly with a dash of Pit Bull mixed in. Max has a sleek silver coat, expressive amber eyes, and an athletic build. He's a wonderfully social pup who happily plays with dogs both big and small and is eager to meet new people. Max is fairly certain water makes every activity better, so if your idea of a perfect weekend includes hikes, lake days, or backyard sprinklers, Max is ready to enthusiastically sign up!

Ongoing Health
Max is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He will receive a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable and a heartworm test prior to adoption.
Training & Support
Max is already showing signs of becoming an incredibly well-rounded companion. He has lovely house manners, walks nicely on leash, and rides well in the car. He's eager to learn and highly treat motivated. With continued positive training, he has all the ingredients to become an extraordinary lifelong best friend.

Transporation
Max is currently in Texas and can be transported nationwide via the rescue's USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time and receive photo updates.
