Honey

Meet Honey! This sweet, loyal girl is full of quiet love and lives up to her name. She was rescued after being abandoned on the side of the highway, scared and underweight, but she's now healthy, vaccinated, spayed, and ready for a fresh start. Honey is a 3-year-old, 19 kg Lab/Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. She's gentle with all people, has a mid-level energy, and is very smart. Honey is protective of her home and absolutely adores car rides. She's the type of dog who always tries her best to please her person. She's clean, food-motivated, and just needs a little practice with leash manners. Honey is currently living harmoniously with ten other dogs and is more than ready for a loving home of her own. After surviving being left behind, she truly deserves someone who will cherish her forever.

Ideal Home

Honey would do best in a home with older children, 10+, and with non-dominant dogs. She is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Honey is spayed, vaccinated, and has been treated for anemia and underweight.

Training & Support

Honey is food-motivated and clean. She would benefit from some practice with leash walking.

Transportation

Honey is currently located in Bucerias, Mexico. Transportation to the US and Canada is available via flight companions. Meeting your new companion at the airport is part of the process. During summer months, if a Canadian flight companion isn't available, transportation may be to the US border at Peace Arch Park.
