June

June is a sweet girl who was surrendered to us when her previous family could no longer keep her. She was very fearful and shut down when she first arrived, overwhelmed by the shelter environment and unsure how to navigate the world. She didn't know basic commands and was hesitant to walk on a leash. But June is a resilient and loving dog, and with patience and kindness, she has made incredible progress! She now walks well on leash, knows to sit for a treat, and happily goes into her kennel when asked. She truly enjoys people and is blossoming before our eyes, coming out of her shell more and more each day. Our greatest hope is for June to find a loving home where she can continue to flourish, rather than spending her formative years in a shelter.

Ideal Home

June previously lived with children and other dogs, and we believe she would do well in a home with either. If you have resident dogs, we always recommend a meet-and-greet to ensure everyone is a good fit!

Ongoing Health

June is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on all her vaccinations.

Training & Support

June has learned to walk well on leash, sit for treats, and kennel on command. She is still adjusting, so continued positive reinforcement and a patient approach will help her continue to build confidence.

Transporation
