Skye (fka Pebbles)

It's hard to understand how such a wonderful girl like Skye can wait so long to find a furever home. She's the star of the events she attends, loved fiercely by our volunteers and fosters, and even has a fully sponsored fee (thanks to Dan Albert - State Farm Agent). Perhaps it's the thought of her potential size and strength that keeps adopters from meeting her, but she really isn't as difficult to manage as you might think. You can always meet her and find out for yourself through our “meet me” program - with no obligation to adopt. She sooooo very much deserves her own home.

Skye was born as a puppy within the rescue and named Pebbles. She became known as Skye by her adoptive family. While loved immensely, her family was unable to keep her and now she's looking for the right forever home.

Skye has a chill disposition and loves being around her people in the house. She is happy lounging on a comfy couch, playing with tough chew toys, and watching other dogs on television. Yes, she watches TV intently! If she sees activity outside, she will bark to let you know and then grab her favorite toy to meet people at the door.

Ideal Home

Skye prefers an environment as an only pet.

Skye is in great health.

Training & Support

Skye is able to have free roam or is crate trained if preferred and knows her commands. Her manners are excellent, and no food begging for this girl.
