DARLING PUREBRED HAVANESE DARBY

Darby is a precious 8.5-year-old purebred Havanese who is ready for a life of love and pampering! She spent her early years as a breeding dog, but those days are behind her, and she's now discovering the joys of being a cherished pet. She's a quick learner and is adapting wonderfully to her foster home, even mastering new skills like climbing stairs. Darby is a very "chill" girl who adores cuddling up with her people, whether on the couch or in bed at night. She's also learning from a furry foster sister and would do best with another canine companion in her forever home.

Ideal Home

Darby would thrive in a home with a dedicated owner or owners who are home most of the time, perhaps a retired couple. A family with older children might also be a good fit. She absolutely must have another canine companion to help her navigate her new life and needs a securely fenced yard.

Ongoing Health

Darby was recently spayed and is up to date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

While mostly house trained, Darby is still fine-tuning her potty habits as she adjusts to a new environment. Patience and consistency will be key to her continued success in this area.

Transporation

Darby is currently in the Metro St. Louis area. We are happy to consider out-of-state applications, and if approved, all family members, including any resident dogs and children, must travel to the foster home in the Metro St. Louis area to finalize the adoption.
