Smokey

Meet Smokey! This handsome 2-year-old Cane Corso and Weimaraner mix is a real sweetheart, weighing in at 53 pounds. He came to us as a stray and is now fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and ready to shower a loving family with affection. Smokey is a delightfully laid-back companion who enjoys the best of both worlds – playful romps with his canine pals and cozy couch cuddles while watching his favorite shows. He’s a quick learner with a kind heart and an affectionate nature, eager to be part of your family.

Ideal Home

Smokey would thrive in a home without cats. He's a bit shy around new people, so a low-traffic household where he can build confidence would be ideal. He also prefers a home with a yard rather than an apartment, as he has some separation anxiety and doesn't love being crated.

Ongoing Health

Smokey is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Smokey is a smart boy and a quick learner! He's fully potty trained and walks beautifully on a leash, though he can get a bit excited and pull slightly when first encountering new people or dogs, but he's easily redirected. He does experience some separation anxiety and may cry for a short period when left alone. He prefers not to be crated, though he will rest in it. Consistent routines and plenty of companionship will help him feel secure.
