With his gorgeous brown and tan coat, sweet soulful eyes, and incredibly gentle nature, it's impossible not to fall in love. His foster describes him as the gentlest dog they've ever had the pleasure of caring for, and once you pick him up, you'll understand why – he turns into a total wet noodle and melts right into your arms!
Jimi loves making new dog friends and enjoys playtime, while also being respectful of other dogs' boundaries. If another pup gets a little too pushy, he'll politely let them know he'd rather keep the peace. He's also met cats and even reptiles and is generally unfazed by them. Because he can have a natural prey drive if startled by sudden movements, slow introductions and supervision with smaller animals are recommended. This handsome guy is both house-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to your home. He rides beautifully in the car, walks wonderfully on a leash without pulling, and happily comes when called (or even with a simple tongue click!). He's still learning basic commands like "sit," but he's eager for treats and will thrive with positive reinforcement. Jimi's favorite things include cuddles, belly rubs, splashing in the water, and believe it or not... coconuts! Whether he's exploring outside, soaking up affection from his people, or enjoying a fun enrichment activity, he's simply happy to be included. Like many young dogs, Jimi is curious and loves to investigate the world with his mouth, so providing appropriate chew toys will help keep him entertained and out of mischief.
