Meet Ayers' Family Cockers. I'm Cathy Ayers from the South West corner of Colorado and I breed Cocker Spaniels. I have been breeding Cocker Spaniels on and off for the last 39 years. I only register through AKC. I have three females: Hermione who is a chocolate and whte parti with green eyes, and Poppy who is a small buff with dark brown eyes, and Dixie. Does is Hermione's daughter and also a white and chocolate parti. The girls are friendly and happy family pets. Hermione has the most beautiful chocolate and white parti pups. George! George is a calico! He is beautiful, sweet, loving and so gentle. He has never found another animal that he doesn't want to nurture. He carries the merle gene so I am very careful to never breed him with another female that also carries this gene. he lives with my daughter. My cockers and pups are raised in the home for the most part. I have a nice safe kennel that they stay in when we aren't home. It keeps them out of mischief while we are away for the day. My pups will always have their tails docked and dew claws removed by the vet, followed by a vet check, first shots and deworming at six weeks before they go to their forever home at 8 weeks.
