Ashbury is a sweet, affectionate puppy with a loving personality. He loves to play, explore, and spend time with his people. One of his favorite things is being held and cuddled, and he's always happy to soak up attention. Ashbury is a gentle, loving boy who is sure to bring lots of joy and companionship to his future family.
Ashbury was found as a stray on a South Dakota reservation with his sister and is now thriving in foster care. As part of his routine veterinary care, they are being treated for localized demodectic mange with a prescribed medicated shampoo. Demodectic mange is not contagious to people or other pets and is caused by naturally occurring mites that can become more noticeable in young puppies with developing immune systems. They have already shown great improvement after just one week of treatment and are expected to continue looking and feeling even better as they grow.
The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
